
About Kim Lowe




Bendigo based visual artist, Kim Lowe blends her traditional painting skills with a career in marketing, bringing about a perfect marriage of her two passions. Working in watercolour, acrylic and digital mediums,
Kim’s style is colourful, bold and contemporary. Her studio is based within Valentine's Antique Gallery, View Street Bendigo.
Inspiration comes from her surroundings and passions including animals, nature and local history. Kim finds beauty and joy in painting sketchy historic buildings, pet portraits, and even finds something special about abandoned buildings and urban decay.
Well established in the Central Victorian arts community, she is passionate about bringing people together through art for happier, healthier communities. ​Her weekly Art for Wellbeing Classes in Bendigo and are popular with local residents wanting to learn new skills or techniques and connect with other creatives.
Kim also enjoys supporting creative organisations and groups through the provision of marketing services, such as Bendigo Open Studios, the Bendigo Rotary Art Show and the Rotary Christmas Market.
Kim is a Member of Rotary Bendigo, Bendigo Artists Inc. (BAI), Regional Arts Victoria (RAV) and Melbourne & Victorian Artists inc. (MAVA).
