Art Class Testimonials

2023 Program

Below you will see the themes for each month of 2023.  This is to keep us focused on one topic for a few weeks, and also allow those working on a larger project to complete it over a number of weeks.

Kim will demonstrate a small project each week as well as provide guidance on each participants’ individual project.

Please note, if you would prefer to work on your own piece and not follow the theme, this is also encouraged.

March Skies and Seas

Learn techniques to create beautiful skies with moody clouds, colourful sunsets and eye catching light.

Complete your scene with calm seas, rolling waves, blue mountains or a sandy beach.

During March participants have the option of choosing an image they would like to create, and deciding on a medium - pencil, watercolour, acrylic.  Over the course of the month, Kim will provide you with the tools and techniques to complete your scene.

Those who simply want to practice techniques or work on smaller projects can follow Kim's smaller demonstration project each week.

Go Animal in April

Paint an cute bunny, bilby or fluffy chick card for someone special this Easter.

Paint your own pet or draw or paint some Aussie animals.

It's your choice, bring along an image of your furry friend and choose your medium - watercolour, pencil or acrylic.  If you have an iPad, I can also teach digital!

Or alternatively, take a virtual holiday to the Mediterranean and paint a vivid and colourful scene.  Perhaps the bright blue and striking white of Morocco.
